About Our Name Henry Knox was a Boston-born bookseller with an academic interest in artillery. After the Battles of Lexington and Concord, he joined the rebel effort and immediately impressed General George Washington when the latter arrived to take command of the burgeoning Continental Army. In the winter of 1775-1776, Knox suggested that the recently-captured cannons at Fort Ticonderoga could help break the siege of Boston. Washington entrusted his friend Knox with the expedition. Knox’s daring plan eventually caused the retreat of the British fleet and became known as one of the greatest feats of logistics in early American warfare. Our goal is to develop a deep and lasting relationship with our clients. As Henry Knox became an indispensable friend and aide to George Washington, we aim to become your trusted advisers and counsel. Whatever your strategic challenge, we are at your disposal. If Washington could rely on Knox to figure out how to drag sixty tons of cannons over the Berkshires during winter, you can rely on KnoxCannon Strategies to pass every test of your campaign.
